Forged steel. Proper deep grooves. Similar to series 1440's but with BOW HANDLES. Tension type hog ring pliers. The joint is held by a bolt, nut and tension washer; this keeps the joint from freezing and helps hold the hog ring when pliers are laid down. No spring loaded.
