Compensating presser foot is used for creating an even stitch along the edge of the material. The compensating foot with spring has a function to prevent skipped stitches when sewing heavy or uneven surfaces. The spring firmly presses the foot bottom so that the tip does not float, and the spring inside for adjusting the height is strong, so it holds the fabric firmly even in thick overlapping parts of the fabric, reducing the occurrence of skipped stitches.
