1/4" Gauge Lap Seam Folder for Union Special Industrial Sewing Machines.

Lap Seam Folder makes the inseam, seat or side seams on jeans & pants. It is also used for hot air balloons, parachute seams, awnings, canvas products, sails, tent seams, etc.

This folder fits machines with a 1/4" gauge or distance between the needles and is available in 4 different weights.

• 1/4" Medium - used for very light fabrics like nylon rip-stop or light apparel applications.

• 1/4" Medium Heavy - used for more general sewing on most woven fabrics and common apparel applications like cotton pants.

• 1/4" Heavy - used for heavy apparel applications like corduroy pants, denim, canvas products.

• 1/4" Extra Heavy - for the heaviest industrial applications like tarps, tents, heavy canvas products, heavy awnings and very heavy denim.
