The fringing foot is designed for fagoting and sewing thread fringe. Use this foot to add a decorative touch, especially when doing applique work. This easy-to-use foot has a small divider in it so that when you make a wide zig-zag stitch, you will end up with a very large loop. Once finished, simply cut the loop on one side of the stitches, whichever side you want the fringe to dangle, and you’ll have created your own thread fringe.
